Aimee Levine is an experienced litigator and counselor, with over thirty years of experience representing corporations and individuals in complex commercial litigation. After working at a Wall Street law firm, in-house at a Fortune 50 corporation, and as a partner at a woman-owned boutique law firm, she founded her own practice to allow her to personally and better serve clients. Ms. Levine’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Her extensive experience in complex commercial litigation includes representing businesses and individuals in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. Ms. Levine has represented Fortune 50 and 100 companies, as well as national and international banks, in commercial litigation.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Levine represents sellers and purchasers of residential real estate and counsels property owners with respect to commercial tenants. She also counsels court appointed guardians with respect to a variety of issues, including asset management, Medicaid planning, and the preparation of trusts and other financial instruments, as well as representing them in court. Similarly, Ms. Levine has acted as counsel to court appointed receivers, representing them in court and in real estate management and recovery. Ms. Levine also provides counseling to individuals with regard to their estate planning needs, and prepares wills and advance directives to meet their goals.
Ms. Levine is admitted to practice in the state of New York, the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits.
Ms. Levine is a 1987 graduate of the Columbia University School of Law, graduating with honors. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1983 from Union College in Schenectady, New York, where she graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Epsilon. Ms. Levine has been awarded an AV Preeminent Peer Rating for her professionalism and the quality of her legal work from Martindale-Hubbell, the premier directory of legal professionals
Ms. Levine served on the board of directors of UPROSE, a New York City based non-profit devoted to environmental justice. Ms. Levine also provided pro bono legal counseling to the Jaipur Education Project, an organization devoted to providing partial and full student scholarships for underprivileged children throughout the greater Jaipur, India area.
